Enfield Council
Over the past 4 years I have trained several hundred staff from Enfield Council. Staff attending these courses range from child minders, nursery nurses, care staff, social workers, foster carers, teachers, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, librarians and child centre managers.
It is without question that Enfield Council is the UK’s leading agency when it comes to the area of ‘inclusion’ for disabled children. A good example of their commitment is with regard to ‘Baby Signing.’ In the past 2 years, I have personally trained over 100 staff, 20% of whom have gone on to become qualified Baby Signing Trainers. These qualified staff can now carry out their own training in their place of work.
